i would switch, however if it compromises the comfort and how you feel keep as is.

I would use ski long boots on classic but I would recommend a normal skate boot for sk8

I personally use a sort of combi boots for classic when i compete but normal classic boots for training and for skate i always use the skate specific boots for skateing

Switch back to skate boots, much more feeling with the ski when you kick it from the snow. From a none longer activ biathlete

Try switching it between easy long days (softer boots) and hard training days (skate boots)
