as a single mom ... we know. boys need men that lead and we seem to have a desert over here ... we're girls. we have so much going on and there is no where and no one for these boys. it's a real problem no book is going to fix

We raised our kids this way. It was such an honor when he came to us SOBBING during Covid because he was lonely. We added his friends to our pod to keep him safe while we got him into therapy.

My 4yo says he hates me when I tell him it’s time for bed. Kids just say things to get their way. I was a kid who went through real ish and that wasn’t the way I acted.

I’ve created a safe space for my son, he knows he can tell his momma anything and I will instill this in all my kids till my last breath. Better to now where he’s a young boy so when he’s a man hopefully he and his sisters thrive.

The rage didn't happen until I turned 19. Prior to that, I spent my depressive episodes bed rotting, completely isolated in my room. And no one could help me, so I believed. It looks different for everyone parents, be mindful of all the signs. Definitely the rage and the crash outs though, I was older when those happened but they happened eventually!

My kiddo went though hard emotions without knowing what they were..it was loss/grief unfortunately. The way he expressed was by yelling/screaming like you stated.

Ok, I've been trying to get my 13 yr old into therapy, he's been through a divorce and losing my dad at the same time. His dad says he doesn't need it. So my son copies him. wtf now!?!??
