I’ve literally told no one in my life other than my therapist because I knew they would judge and tell me to leave, and I’m just not ready to hear that. It feels so isolating though

How long did it take for you to start healing and feeling a little better? 7months since I found out, both in therapy but I feel like I won’t be able to move past this, disappointment at it’s peak💔

I couldn’t just walk away from 25 years of marriage. It was a total blindsided, but 5 months out, I see the hope for a better future.

There are real reasons, like yours, to stay. My husband was in the military, I was a stay at home mom and we lived far away from family. My husband controlled our money. It was a double bind!

I agree but most likely in my situation when emotions calm down months or years later it’s time to move on however the shock/trauma response is there to save you at the time

I always thought I’d be able to walk away with zero hesitation, but when I saw proof of it, I wanted her to prove me wrong. I wanted any way for us to work. I couldn’t believe the betrayal
