Nope. It's an insurance issue. If I clock out, I'm not covered for workplace injuries or accidents. So I'll stay clocked in, or I can leave, but no pay, NO WORK! ๐๐๐๐

Corral West, a western clothing store used to have employees clock out and then vacuum, count till, etc. They were sued by an employee through the state and won. You canโt do this!

If there's too much work for one person to accomplish in the allotted time it's the manager's duty to step in and assist with the work, not ask the employee to click out and continue working.

my manager just clocked us out. I was forced, yes forced said if I didn't do it then I was fired and I couldn't leave. never told anyone and then we found out next day check we were clocked out at 1

Mrs. Winners chicken made me do this when I was 16. I had no clue cause It was my 1st job. Sometimes I would go over by like 2 hrs and leave at midnight however they would clock me out at 10pm

We don't pay with money. Tou earn money by offering your time + skill. Skill determines the amount per hr. So in reality you pay for Everything with ur Time. Don't waste it.
