The problem is that maintaining all of these systems also requires executive function and it’s a super delicate thing, one thing out of line and my routine starts to fall apart

I become blind to those lists. I may start off well, but it doesn't last.

Very confusing message. To-do lists don’t work for us, so make a to-do list.

A whiteboard doesn't work for me. It just becomes part of the decor after a week and I don't pay attention to it anymore. Besides, crossing of tasks doesn't satisfy me at all.

Not to argue this point, I'm primarily inattentive ADHD, if I made a list of tasks, I'd run out of space and end up with a list of my entire life + things that are not important

I couldn’t agree more my ADHD meltdowns happen when I tried to be Neurotypical being neural divergent people don’t understand that we have to as ADHD adults do things different and except ourselves

My list never ends. This is why I do not get satisfaction from crossing things off.

I've started putting post-it notes on things I need to get done. it really helps keep me motivated to see them coming down.

Sticky notes on my desk and wall, whiteboard calendar by my door, notebook to write in and reminders on my devices. Important things but also basic stuff, just to stay on task. Helps tremendously ✌️❤️
