if they are not an emergency clinic, you cannot just walk in and expect to be seen. if you have an emergency, go to an emergency vet, or urgent vet. the reception isn't a Dr, won't know tests.

Vet is just like a regular doctor. If you had a medical emergency you’d go to the ER. Also, ‘can’t you just see her quick?’ Ummm if there is an emergency nothing abt that is going to be quick, sir

Sir, I used to be reception at a vet hospital. I could never tell anyone what the doctor was going to do for a dog that was shaking. It’s up to the vet. Go to a emergency vet.

I take mine to banfield in petsmart in robinson ur able to wait til there is an available spot for a vet to see your animal & I've been going there since Marco was a puppy their great

I don’t blame you at all for being upset. Nothing is more infuriating than people’s lack of empathy towards dogs. Sending your pup all the healing energy and hope she feels better soon ❤️

I can totally get your frustration but that’s why they have emergency vets. You don’t expect to walk into your PCPs office and be seen without an appointment either. Same goes for veterinarian visits.

I'm in Pgh too. I have had my vet appointment delayed while they took an emergency. I would never complain about that. For future, there is an emergency facility on Rt 19 that we have used on weekends

We needed to have our dog put to sleep ( due to cancer) as she had rapidly declined, called her vet and they said they had no appointments and that we could sit and wait ( possibly for hours) and ....
