There is a pilot shortage & particularly in military trained pilots. Pilots flying regional jets have the least amount of training/experience & are very underpaid. Maintenance is similarly worse

(1/2)think the bigger concern in all of this is that 2024 fatal crashes had 6 people at most in the planes. Not 50-100 people, an entire flight crashing and no one surviving.
