@dr.oliviaofficial: Stitch with @wonderbaby thank you for sharing this viral turtle head protector backpack! I think this is a great way to have some peace of mind when your baby is practicing skills like sitting, crawling and walking! The head protector backpack is Dr. Olivia approved! ✅ #thebabypt #MomsofTikTok #babyhack #momhack #greenscreenvideo #greenscreen
my mom said no bc it doesn't teach the baby how to fall correctly. like how do they know how to protect their head if there's always a cushion? wat happens when u take it away?

I got one for my daughter because we have tile flooring, and let me tell you it saved a possible ER trip MANY times

won't keeping a backpack like that on them mess with their balance level anyway? like make it too top heavy. then even you took it off they'll feel way lighter?

I used this for my child ! It allowed me to not over protect him, and let him explore and learn, without hurting himself. When I noticed he knew how to fall correctly, I simply stop using it !

My daughter fell maybe twice and hurt herself, since then, she knows how to catch her fall and it’s beautiful to see and watch her figure it out. They’re more clever than ppl think

I’m going to get one bc this is my third child and I have 3 kiddos to watch at any time so I need a little insurance on the littlest one 😂

Got one for our daughter who kept trying to climb and pull up on everything. Saved her head many a time bc it’s all tile flooring. Stopped using it once she could walk

I don't think so because she always falls forward or to the side. got two matching black eyes now because of it.

I sit with baby whilst he plays. If he’s falling safely then I’ll let him. If he’s not safe I’ll catch him but still place him on the ground. I don’t react and let him decide if he’s upset

This was the first thing I saw as a new millennial mom which made me say “parents these days are raising soft kids” and I have a ducky thermometer for my baby’s bath

I've seen other PTs say they are harmful, because they throw the balance off... don't know

Mine just knows to sit down when she falls or wants to get down. Not just throw herself back bc she wants down. I feel like that’s what this teaches 🤷🏼♀️

I put it on my baby while he was learning to sit. He decided to start falling sideways after he fell backwards once with it on 🙃 LOVE the idea of it tho!!!

This thing has saved my son’s head quite a few times. He’s learning *how* to fall better and catch himself but I feel much safer knowing he won’t crack his head or anything.

It seems like it makes them more likely to fall cause its more weight at the back ?
