I never buy extended warranty because they lump it in with finance, I'm not financing and paying interest on a service just not doing it.

I do not buy the warranty from the dealership. You can get better, cheaper from an independent source. Although, none of them really cover much of what they claim they will.

Worked for Mopar and I got to give out service contracts for inconvenience purposes so therefore I would be able to see the actual price of the contract. Dealerships add 100s $$$ for profit

Computers and chips aren’t all inexpensive. For instance, some vehicles’ computers cost over $2,500, not to mention chips. Unless you intend to keep the car for less than the manufacturer’s warranty,

if you don't decide to buy a warranty, always purchase it 1 day before the manufacturer's warranty expire. don't waste money on double coverage.

Took my Pathfinder into Nissan yesterday. Best thing they told me is I’m covered, don’t need to pay anything. Money Spent = Money Saved

Ask for the cash price…shop it around at dealerships nationwide. Then bring the best price to your dealership and see if they’ll match it. You don’t have to buy it at sale closing.

100%. Also I tell my people to get option B (fmdifferent lingo different places). The slightly more expensive but refundable option. Gives the ‘waste of money if I don’t use it’ argument a reply
