How anyone could look at any animal as not worthy of love. I have rats and get "oh rats are dirty" all while they jump onto my shoulder every time i open their cage and sit in my hands with such trust. Animals are balls of love no matter what they are.

Excuse me!? Howie was super cute! people in general just don’t appreciate unconventional pets, especially something like a crab, which they usually see as food rather than a companion. 🦀

I love animals but always had an irrational fear of crabs. Howie changed that for me over Covid. I fell in love with her and I’m devastated she’s gone. I thank her mom for sharing her with us 🥺
