Dad’s already done two trips to the car with all the bags and brought the car to the door. Then carries the last remaining heavy thing. Then gets a photo taken. Hope this helps.

my partner took all the bags out to the car first, then came back for me and baby 🙂 and seeing him carrying our baby when I'd carried her for 9 months melted my heart🥰

Dad carried the bags etc out first, then came back for me and baby. As I had just given birth, I didn’t trust myself to carry such a precious bundle in a heavy car seat. It’s a safety thing too

I think its nice as mummy carried baby all pregnancy now daddy gets to carry baby in a way to life.. and my partner did plenty and equally deserved it!

Maybe, whilst yes mum did all the "hard work", she has also had all the attention and it is nice for dads to have that proud moment too 🤷🏼♀️

the bags are usually already in the car as dad as already made that trip down to the car and back up.. mum doesn't need to carry anything

My partner carried my throughout my entire pregnancy, he gave me bed rest for the last 10 weeks, he then carried me throughout my labor. 🩵

my parter carried baby girl, my dad carried my bags, and my sister in law took the picture and video of my partner walking out with baby. My brother held my hand as I walked out the hospital and my stepmom took pictures of everything. my mum was at home making sure it was ready for us to settle home nicely after being at hospital for the entire labor and delivery 🥰

I had my wee boy at 11.39am and was kept in over night due to him having a heart murmmer. I told my partner just to go to work as didn't know when I would be out and no point him missing another day of work so I ended up carrying my wee boy out then my mum drove me home x

How are you twisting this? She just had a whole baby. He’s carrying the car seat so she can walk. That’s not praise-worthy, it’s just being a decent partner. We didn’t ask for them to take a picture?

I solved this by having 2 home births. No dad-carrying-baby-in-car-seat-leaving-the-hospital picture for us 😂
