Parents would be astounded at how this permeates through their whole life too. Behaviour and enjoyment in schools is getting worse and I think it’s partly to do with tablet/phone culture

Totally agree! My 9 year old is still not allowed a phone and when she does get one probably age 10/11 she won’t have any of the apps! It’s heartbreaking what social media has done to children

I work in a school, it's scary how many kids just have 24/7 access to the WHOLE internet, you try to discuss it with parents and they act so offended 😭

fully agree. we gave kids phones when they started high school for Comms and tracking. can't believe how many kids are allowed snap chat and tiktok from 10 and under

My saved Tik toks are suitable for my daughter so I let her see those while I supervise. Other than that she is not allowed to see any other social media including YouTube!

Nope we have a family tablet .. no social media on there games only and no messages are available ! It’s a scary world!

completely agree!!! my child was even targeted with messages on the Fitbit app, I was linked to everything so got to it before she did but the ignorance of parents it's mind blowing.
