So many ‘non natural’ products are made for the specific purpose of being used in cosmetic. ‘Natural’ ingredients can be SO problematic in terms of stability, irritants, allergens etc.

Phenoxyethanol is a common replacement for parabens. Not even now just in clean beauty. I have an allergy to phenoxyethanol. Every time I repurchase a product I have to check to see if they used it.

MI is nasty. I got a bad batch of shampoo once. It took months for my dermatologist and I to identify it. The ratio was off in that batch. The dermatitis on my face and neck looked like hives. 😫
