made it tonight but I used stew meat and put in one can of water.it was so good with mashed potatoes the meat was so tender and the gravy was Awesome.

I make this all the time, but add dry sherry (or red wine). It is perfection served over mashed potatoes! I cook mine at 325 for 1 hr and 3 hrs uncovered.
