You’re ruining your dog coat. You could literally just go look this up. This is just a fact that’s why a lot of groomers won’t shave them get some scissors and clip the pants that’s it.

Literally every Aussie I have groomed has been shaved and their coat is so f*cked, frizzy, thick, and balding. Just because her coat is good as a PUPPY doesn't mean it won't ruin her skin and coat

She might be but you’re not supposed to shaved a double coated dog. You can trim the back of her legs but it ruins the undercoat shaving them. As a person who works in a dog grooming salon for 6 yrs.

when you shave a double coated dog, over a long period of time, the hair either won't grow back, or will grow patchy. you didn't go down TOO far, but any farther would be damaging.I recommend scissors

She shaved the excess. It’s not that deep and NOT to the skin. She never even touched the back or the body really. The double coat is still there and works just fine! This dog is looking good!
