it is not worth it, tried it. Super cramped and over crowded. Its not enjoyable anymore. Just use other trains less stressful.

We took the KYO-TRAIN GARAKU from Osaka to Kyoto (45 mins) about 3 weeks ago— super aesthetic ride but huge luggage ruins the vibe and you might end up standing. Pack light + get there early! 🎒
