@she_is_like_texas: My mother was admitted into Methodist hospital, in San Antonio on January 29th. On the morning of February 1st I walked into her room and found her like this. The day prior I told the nurses station that when she pressed the call button she couldn’t talk to them. (Throat cancer) That they would have to physically check on her. She laid in her urine for 10 hours. She was freezing all night. From her head to her feet. Her 3 blankets were wet, her socks, 2 pee pads, hospital gown down to the bed sheet. Not one nurse cared for her. My mother sadly passed away 3 days later. How many other patients don’t get the proper care? Her last days shouldn’t have been like this.
