don’t tell margaret, but sometimes you just need bread today 😂 i’ll always love sourdough, but this is my go-to yeast dough when i want something quick, soft and really versatile. you can use it for sandwich bread, rolls, cinnamon rolls, buns and so much more. i made four loaves today and portioned about 720 g of dough into each 9 x 5 loaf pan. i greased mine with avocado oil, but butter or parchment works too. mine rose from about 2:00 to 5:30 today, but always watch your dough instead of the clock. i baked at 350°f. after about 20 minutes i gently laid foil over the tops so they wouldn’t get any darker, then continued baking until the centers reached 195°f. let them cool completely before slicing. one loaf recipe below ⬇️ 270 g whole warm milk 1 1/8 cups 21 g honey 1 tablespoon 3 g instant yeast 1 teaspoon 380 g all-purpose flour about 3 1/4 cups 7 g nonfat dry milk powder about 1 tablespoon 6 g fine sea salt 1 teaspoon 43 g softened butter 3 tablespoons warm the milk to about 100°f. add everything to your mixer and mix until combined or mix by hand knead until the dough is smooth, stretchy and slightly tacky add butter until smooth cover and let rise until doubled. shape and place into a greased 9 x 5 loaf pan. i use avocado oil, but butter or parchment works too. let rise until nicely domed above the rim. bake at 350°f. after about 20 minutes, loosely lay foil over the top if it has enough color. continue baking until the center reaches 195°f. cool completely before slicing. #homemadebread #sandwichbread #breadrecipe #yeastbread #fromscratch
