@irwinandlovely: Story Time Weeks before my due date, my OB informed us that baby was “frank breech” and that a CS would likely be necessary. At first, I was okay, thinking there was still a chance for baby to turn since my due date was still weeks away. However, after a few days, the ultrasound results remained the same. My OB advised us to schedule a CS asap. I just smiled and said, “Doc, pwede magpa ultrasound na pud mi next week? Basin naa pay miracle.” He agreed and reassured us that, at least, baby’s position was better than being transverse. On September 11, we had another ultrasound, but the results were unchanged. That’s when I started to worry, trying to hold back tears as the doctor recommended scheduling the CS and telling us that if my water breaks anytime, we have to rush to the hospital and have an emergency CS. We then chose September 16, just two days before my full term, as we were still hopeful. As we left the clinic and headed to the car, I couldn’t help but be so emotional. I even asked, “Lord, dili ba enough akoang faith?”😭 September 12, around 2 AM, my water broke! We immediately rushed to the hospital. While waiting in the ER, dealing with contractions, I still prayed for a miracle. But the doctor on duty who checked the baby’s position, said, “Murag lubot jud ni, ma’am. Ky humok man.” At that moment, I just accepted that a CS was inevitable. Around 7 AM on September 12, I heard the words, “THE BABY IS OUT!” “IT’S A GIRL!” “Oi, ballerina man diay ni xa!” I had no idea what they meant, but when we finally had our ‘unang yakap’, I just cried tears of joy, thanking God for a successful operation and a healthy baby!♥️ And when I saw this video, I just laughed and said, “Mao diay dili xa mutuyok ky ballerina man jud diay ang tiil. Wala man unta ko nangala ky Carlos Yulo.”🤣 You see, not all of our prayers are answered the way we want, but God often surprises us with answers wrapped in boxes we never imagined. So if your prayers are still unanswered, KEEP PRAYING. KEEP TRUSTING. KEEP DOING THE RIGHT THINGS. God will give you the best answers in His time. And when the answer arrives, you will have that joy & peace that will surpass all understanding. ✨
