it's not called the gender scan but they can tell you the gender if you ask. they did with all 3 of mine. I got 2 free photos per scan, if you wanted more then you had to pay

I had 14 scans during pregnancy due to being high risk and I got photos at every single scan and didn’t pay for a single one 🥰 in my area down south we don’t pay for photos

I'm guessing this is England. I've never heard of someone paying for scan pictures here in Scotland. Also your gestation can change after they give you your date at 12w scan. You can find out gender

Scan photos used to be free in my hospital 10 years ago but 4 years ago, I had to pay. But they usually give you more if they've printed more than you paid for

Your pregnancy is counted from the first day of your last period before your 12 week scan then once you go for that scan they assign you with a more accurate due date based on the size of your baby

You only get free dental if you are with a NHS dentist. If you are private you still have to pay.

This must be England, in Scotland you have four scans and the pictures are absolutely free. They do a gender scan too.

My photos were free only had to pay if I wanted more than 2 pics & the 20 week anatomy scan they can tell you the gender. I’m north west so maybe it depends on the hospital 🙂
