@nomante.potante: Hummus Ingredients: 200g dried chickpeas (or 2 cans) 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 130g tahini 1 tsp cumin powder 2 garlic cloves Juice of half a lemon pinch of salt (to taste) Method: 1. Soak the chickpeas overnight with baking soda and salt. 2. Transfer them to a pot, add enough water to cover the chickpeas. Bring to a boil and simmer until they’re very soft (Around 20-30 minutes but it depends on the type of chickpeas). 3. Use a small sieve to swirl around the chickpeas, helping the skins come off. Save some of the cooking water and drain the rest. 4. Transfer the chickpeas to the food processor along with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth. Add some chickpea water and blend until your desired consistency. Adjust the seasoning. 5. Store it in an airtight container and drizzle olive oil on top to prevent it from drying.
