This happens to my brother, all of a sudden he stops making any sense. Takes him about an hr to come back to reality. This started since he was in high school. The episodes are less frequent now.

It happened to me before. I was so sleepy when i was driving because i had graveyard shift. My eyes were close for a few second while i was driving then i hit my head and pinch my skin to make me awake.
