I treat my rental as if it’s my own. Even landscape which isn’t required. I still pay over a half paycheck each month to them 😫 Loyal renters should be rewarded

This is why you require renters insurance and also have your own landlord insurance. If this is intentional: the renters insurance coverage will indemnify the couple renting. Landlord will recover

Sounds like a lawsuit. Allegedly they did that because the landlord didn't want to return their deposit. That doesn't mean that the rent should be increased for the next tenant.

Rent is high bc people buy investment properties without enough capital & the mortgage is too high to get a decent ROI. If you can’t pay 50% on property you should not be buying it to rent out.

the toilet line does not look tampered with, it looks like the plastic thread snapped in half. I have had this issue multiple times and have had units flood. Usually happens from over tightening.
