@nicholelynn_: The phrase, “Get your pink back” has taken the mom community by storm and if you haven’t heard the backstory .. it comes from flamingos. After mother flamingos give birth, they loose their pink color. But it’s not gone forever. Over time, she gains her beautiful pink coloring back. Mothers in the phase of postpartum cling to this phase, as of course it’s so relatable, but also gives hope that one day you will feel like yourself again. But in the meantime, it’s so important to see the beautiful life that you’ve created right in front of you. It’s comforting to know that, even if we temporarily lose our pink, it’s not for nothing.
