I think It actually means that our wombs are the only direct portal from heaven to earth bringing life & death. During bleeding it’s technically ‘death’ which is why it’s ‘unclean’.

No tbh I don’t even think it meant it in the way the Old Testament described it. I mean technically if you have blood all over you, you’re not clean? So uncleanliness makes sense. And yet the PEOPLE took it as dirty and filthy. Which is so wrong ..
