@colby_maier: God is calling us to renew our minds, not according to the patterns of this world, but by being transformed through His truth. Romans 12:2 reminds us: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” There are two patterns to follow. The world offers a system that is easy to assimilate into—one that leads to sin, chaos, and destruction. But God calls us to something greater. He calls us to overcome darkness with light, to reject the lies of the enemy, and to allow our thoughts to be shaped by His wisdom. God is in the business of formation and transformation. When we surrender our thought life to Him, He renews us from the inside out. The mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
