My opinion (not saying is a fact) is they’re trying to find an excuse to invade Mexico and get lithium. Same reason why changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico.

It’s typical of the colonizers to use euphemisms to hide the true intentions. Mexico has water and minerals that the US wants for their corporations to exploit. It’s time to stay frosty.
