I have an idea, and I would like you to join me, (If you want, I won’t put a gun to your head or anything). A few weeks ago, someone commented on my post saying they could manage one minute of movement. Why is this important? Well a lot of people think going to the gym is scary, and doing a whole hour of exercise sounds about as fun as having your naked body dragged through a field of broken glass. So rather than going to the gym, I encouraged them to start with one minute of exercise. It sounds pathetic to a lot of people, but doing one minute is a starting point for behaviour change. Because when you complete that minute, you know you can do it. And when you know you can do it, it feels less scary to do it again. And the more you repeat this, the more likely it is to become an engrained habit. So here I am doing precisely 60 seconds of a new skill. I am publicly demonstrating that I am shit at it, but I intend to keep repeating it until I get better. And I would invite you to join me in this totally free challenge. Pick a new habit or behavior, it doesn’t have to be fitness related. And commit to doing just 60 seconds of it, for as many days in a row as you can. When you feel compelled to scale up, please do so. I am going to use the brand new hash tag #60SecondMovement and if you want to partake, you are more than welcome. P.S. My best-selling book, ‘Everything Fat Loss’ is currently on sale as a brand-new audiobook, plus digital/print versions from Barnes and Noble, Apple, Kobo, Google, and Amazon with an extra 10% off in the US, and an extra 7% off in Canada. Feel free to grab it before the price goes up (Iink in profile). #60SecondMovement #exercise #workout #exercisesnacks #gym #Fitness #habits #habit #aerobic #aerobics #skipping #jumprope #jumpropeworkout #jumpropechallenge #fatloss #weightloss #fatlosstips #weightlosstips #personaltrainer #caloriedeficit #calories #caloriesincaloriesout #caloriesinvscaloriesout #foryou #fyp #fypシ
