Fair warning: The scalp magnification is... a lot. But I’ve been dying to go to a head spa for a scalp evaluation and treatment for so long, so I jumped at @Raw Sugar Living invitation to visit @YukieBeautySpa. The experience did not disappoint. 💯 My scalp has always been pretty itchy and, because I have such dark hair, any resulting flakes are very apparent. I just assumed I had a really dry scalp, since the rest of my skin skews dry. But when my scalp esthetician Nadiia, looked at my scalp under 300x magnification, she instantly flagged the signs of an oily scalp. Basically, I’ve been doing everything all wrong for my scalp type. Go figure. 😱 The treatment was so luxurious in every way. Scalp massages, exfoliating treatments, steam treatments, hair masks, a gorg blowout... the works. 🤗 I haven’t experienced any urge to itch since leaving the salon this morning (huge for me) and my hair just feels lighter all together.
