i got a brand new macbook in august of last year and anytime i reset it or power it off it won’t cut on for a few days, but it also cost $700 just to ship it to the closest apple store, so i just pray that it cuts on before I need it again.

hello! this happened to me with that same exact macbook twice in a row and it ended up being that the battery was completely dead and i had to get a new one (i got an air and it’s been fine)

First thing I’d do it open it up and see if the fans are clogged. Then change out the SSD.

your battery for the mac might be dead and you have to go to a Best Buy or Micro Center near you to repair your mac but call before you go to make sure if they have the right parts to repair your mac
