If you put a paper towel on the mat as well it’ll be much easier to see if there is water accumulating on the mat.

I have always said when buying a home they need to give you a binder with everything you need to do for the first year, how often you change your filters all of this. To get you used to it.

The way I would absolutely accidentally not go to another sink 😂 this is very helpful! I could have avoided bothering maintenance in an apartment if I had known these just unscrewed.
