When my 3 year old was born, she was a premie… i had bad PPD & PPA. I was so scared that something was going to happen to her. I had a hard time doing “life” and barely slept, because if something was going to happen to her, it was going to be while i slept. I was constantly checking to make sure she was breathing… and using the owlet sock monitor made me more stressed because it would go off saying she had no oxygen… so many false alarms!!! I spent most days just on the couch holding her, alone… because i couldn’t leave the house & everyone expected me to go to them. My husband worked out of town for the first 3.5 months and was only home on the weekends… it was rough!!! When he was home, he picked up the slack for me. Staying up late or waking up early to take care of her, so i could sleep. Cleaning up the house, cooking, etc… Rather then judge/mom shame a fellow mom, we should be a community and offer support, even if its just moral support.. affirming her that she got this because being freshly postpartum and having babies is tough!! Those 17 diapers says to me that her babies are fed and their booties are clean! #MomsofTikTok #momtok #momsupportingmoms #momlife
