25 years ago when I was in cosmetology school I was told to use ERA laundry detergent. And a school is great to go if you don’t want to pay a lot and they have instructions on what to do

Before Malibu was invented, I had my students use dawn dish soap to remove over tones from hair extensions. Works wonders! You’re right! Just needs hydration after.

Also, I would rather go to a cosmetology school where the new stylist is supervised. Also yes everyone needs to learn somewhere!! I am a certified hair extensionist and I had people trust me when I first started. PS, the dawn dish soap has always been a thing for all the haters out there. As I always say, safe enough for the duckies safe enough for me.
