@horsepro.tv: Every year our approach to starting horses evolves and improves. Lately we have found that we get more success from drawing the rein and releasing as opposed to tying off hard and moving the horse around when teaching lateral softness. The horse can get a release faster and they learn to move their feet quicker when the drawing of the rein begins, which directly relates to riding when you start to pull a rein. You want the nose to start and the feet to come with them. When you tie off hard you pull the nose around, stop the feet for a second then move them again. Give it a try and let us know how it goes! #horsetraining #horseriding #horsetrainingtips #horselife #horsetrainer #horsetrainingvideos #coltstarting
