@alishacollinsrealestate: Replying to @JustRen Camera the sewer line EVERY time you buy a house. 🚨💩 Almost always, a sewer scope is NOT included in the general home inspection—you have to order it separately. 📹🛠️ It can show you: 🔍 Crushed or cracked pipes 🌱 Roots growing inside (major blockage risk) 🏡 If it’s actually connected to the city line (yes, that’s a thing!) And don’t just order it—pay attention during the inspection! 👀 Last time you bought a house, did you camera the sewer line? What did you find? We didn't do it when we bought older home, and went to sell few years later and new buyer did. 20k to fix it. If older home, DO IT! Luckily we had special insurance addendum that paid for it.

We paid for an inspection , what a waste of money . We would have been better off to have a contractor take a look

Our home was built in 2003. We ran the line for peace of mind.

💯 hire separate sewage, roof and HVAC inspection. Exceptions maybe if it’s new and has finalized permits.
