The gentrification causing a lot of good spots to close & the pandemic changed a lot of operation hours so those are definitely factors that have shifted the nightlife culture

I be outside and inside lol but NY nightlife has definitely changed since the pandemic. I lived here before and afterwards…people dance less now and seem to care more about appearing to have a good

It’s bc those transplants are going to Manhattan😭 gotta go to BK/queens,but it def has died down/ppl became stiff/weird

Gotta get a ticket for everything, people don’t dance anymore, the energy is off overall. Personally, I’m over it. Maybe I’m just getting old

It’s become so expensive. Happy hours aren’t even what they used to be. On top of everywhere having a cover, the drinks are so pricey. Ppl don’t dance as much either so I go out less

I think the DJs play the same songs/mixes over & over. Some parties pack some places to the point you can’t dance. And the dynamic between men & women has been off culturally which contributes

I’m outside but I realize I would rather do day parties. I’m getting old and after 11:30 I’m not functional! Also folks ain’t dancing like they used to.
