Sounds like gallstones. You already had pre existing elevated liver levels. I doubt the carnivore had anything to do with the elevated levels..

Have you checked liver enzymes lately? Had you been taking tylenol or other meds when tested? They will raise it.

I believe you caused more damaged to the liver with excess saturated fat and with damaged livers there may be a reduction in LDL.

This can happen if you’ve been on hormonal BC, BHRT, or havr PCOS, also mthfr gene mutation, as can ketosis in early months of carnivore or any low card diet for that matter
