it’s not that we hate aang. it’s when we use their logic on aang, and keep him responsible for when he messed up they get upset.

Aang was never going to kill the sandbenders, Aang has never killed anyone even when in the avatar state. That’s just an assumption people are making. Also, people always forget that the whole team of children had spent the whole episode dehydrated under the desert sun. Something like that’s going to affect your emotional state. You don’t have to try and make Aang look bad to make Korra look better, you can just point out they had different character progressions
