It’s a carrier issue, likely that had a glitch during activation. They need to delete and re-add the voicemail feature but it will likely delete all of the voicemails you currently have.

Not a fix to your phone issue, but there exists independent voicemail apps/websites where you can set up a voicemail box not attached to your phone number

the carrier might have the eSIM assoc w/ your vm tied to a previous device’s IMEI/ICCID number. you could move srvc to an old phone then back to your current phone 24hrs later to resync eSIM/IMEI/ICC

Go to the phone app, dial 1 and then press call. That takes you to at&ts voicemail system instead of the iPhone one. Its likely you just need to set a pin

I don’t know how to fix your phone but I would suggest getting a google number and change your number at the school to that. Then you don’t have to see or hear it until you’re mentally ready. 🤗

i think it’s a carrier setting thing. i don’t know how to fix your exact instance but mine i had to do a set up in my google fi app to get it to link with ios properly

Does it call from the same number every time? Until your VM gets fixed you can silence that particular contact within your notif settings for them

I use StraightTalk and I’ve yet to have an issue like this. I wonder if it’s carrier-specific, or if it’s just that specific phone
