Explanation: When engineers were trying to figure out which parts of an airplane to reinforce, they initially thought they needed to strengthen the areas that took the most hits. However, in reality, they had to reinforce the parts that didn't take hits, because if those areas were hit, the airplanes wouldn’t have returned. This is a classic example of survival bias. So the joke means that transgenders are mostly happy because those who weren't happy unalived themselves
