Unfortunately I can’t do this when my dog finds chicken bones outside, I need to get them out of his mouth asap before he eats it but he just chews and eats faster while I’m trying to get it out of his mouth, any advice for if the dog has something you NEED to get out of their mouth asap?

my 6 month puppy values the couch, in the evening I try and get her to move and go for a wee before bed but she's stubborn, and will growl and grit her teeth at me! and she's not an aggressive dog, but this hurt my heart 😞 how can I fix this issue? the same way with treats?

i am from country side .. I had a pit bull. Carpathian shepherd. German shepherd. Boxer. I had mixed breed dogs but no dog bit me. I had over 20 dogs. When my dogs ate I would put my hand in their mouths and take the food out of their mouths. My dogs ate hot peppers because I ate them. I had fruit in the garden but the dogs wouldn't eat fruit on their own. If I gave it to them from my hand, they would eat all the fruit.

I would say find a higher value treat than the one you have. I had to up the anti. I came in with bacon flavour treat vs his duck dry liver. But this works.

My dog guards anything she can from our other dogs. Food, water, toys, attention. I’m not sure if it’s bc she’s deaf but none of our other dogs have done this.

So my dog is obsessed with toys and guards toys from the other dogs which causes some problems sometimes. I’m the only one who’s really tried to work with her so I’m the only one she will allow to approach her when she’s got a toy without running away, and I taught her this by petting her while she had a toy without taking that toy away. I’m just trying to figure out how to get her to stop guarding these toys like her life is on the line.
