My mother never stopped praying ! In my teens to mid 20s I was a dope dealer, drunk , adulterer, had to curse in every sentence, loved to fight , glorified la Santa muerte , until I went to prison! I first encountered the love of God there , when I got out I was still wicked! shortly I was so drunk & broken ,I ran off the road & got flung out the windshield going around 80 mph broke all my right side ribs , split my right hand completely open , dislocated my shoulders , fractured my spine It was 3 am I was suppose to be laying there in that ditch dead but before going unconscious I saw this bright white light , no figure just a bright light ! The same one I saw when I was in prison ! It was Gods love and mercy over my life ! I recovered months later but still was stubborn and prideful I had lost my wife because I was not faithful so I was enraged ! Blaming the one who saved me (God) I got arrested yet again at the age of 27 for gun charges & drug charges I was suppose to do 10 years plus but in that cell I finally told God I was done running from Him ! That I didn’t want to be angry and unforgiving! To change my heart & if I had to spend the next 10 years in prison that it was okay but to do the time with me ! 3 days later the judge gave me a bond & allowed me to walk away ! I’ve been out of the system & walking with Christ 3 years faithfully now ! I’m sober , He reconciled my marriage I have 3 beautiful children now ! & I’m far from perfect I make mistakes but I knew who to run to now ! He loves us so much! Best decision I’ve ever made , it was a long road of suffering but it took all that for God to show me that He was saving me from the path of destruction that was coming my way ! Please surrender to Jesus Christ ! Forget the old man !
