i applied for a job recently online, you had to apply to get a notification when a spot opened up, then apply, then answer questions, then send in a video interview each took like 3-4 days

I was a uni student and had an interview I had to chase up for 3 weeks at Taco Bell. Finally got it. Was 10 minutes EARLY and the fat manager there was LITERALLY CONFUSED why I was EARLY. I can’t make this up. I told him I work for my partners step dad doing construction labouring but the hours aren’t flexible enough to balance with uni which is why I applied for the job because I’m only available for afternoon/night shifts AND ITS TACO BELL??? So made sense. And he was visually confused, then asked me verbatim, “so I guess you could say you’re a people pleaser? And if you already have a job why do you want to work here?” WHAT😭😭😭😭. I’m done I NEED FINANCIAL FREEDOM
