Hamstrings 101 1️⃣ Typically, I’ll train them 2 days per week. Day 1 is a lying leg curl + a stiff leg deadlift variation. Day 2 is often only a seated curl (this is because it’s on my more quad focused leg day) 2️⃣ Everything is usually for 2-4 sets in the 5-12 rep range with at least 3 minutes of rest between each set 3️⃣ If I’m doing both a leg curl and a SLDL variation in the same workout, I’ll usually start with the leg curl. In which case, it’ll be a lying leg curl (Lying leg curls will train the hamstrings in their short position & SLDL’s will train them in their lengthened position. This leaves seated leg curls to be done on my 2nd day as the stand-alone hamstring exercise.) I really hope this helps give you some sort of direction in your training.
