The trash cans don’t sit in the door organizer there is a clip that goes over the lip of the organizer in your door. I have 2 in my car there should be a clip inside of each of them.

Just a heads up, If you happen to get in a car accident, the entire car seat would need replaced as it wouldn’t be safe anymore. That’s why it’s not recommended to put it in and leave it.
