Are u sure that’s a neutral, is the bulb good, did you verify 120V at outside junction box, how did you verify line and load at the switch

I've never worked on a trailer house but do have 120v at the porch light? vevor has a volt meter if you don't own one yet

If it’s a smart dimmer that bulb might not be dimmable. Check all your wires with meter not a tick tester make sure you know which wire is providing 120 those non contacts can lie

If you done it with the circuit on and didn’t hook it up ground then neutral then hot you smoked the switch, or the bulb isn’t dimmable

With it being a manufactured home, is the "hot" made up inside the light fixture? Most of the time the power is ran straight to the light then the wire leading to the switch acts as a jumper to switch

Sounds like a lose neutral. If you got a multimeter check voltage on the load hot a neutral. Some use the white as a switch leg even though it’s not supposed to.
