30 weeks 🤰 10 things I've learnt about pregnancy so far: 1: It's honestly a wild adventure filled with so many ups and downs. 2: Listening to your body is paramount or you'll pay the price. 3: Movement is essential whether it be training, walking, Pilates, yoga - if you don't move it you lose it. 4: You do not need to over eat & "eat for two" - there is a slight increase in calories consumed mainly around third trimester, but it's certainly not a green light to binge eat your way to your baby. 5: Hydration is so important, the days I haven't drunk enough my energy plummets. Your little miracle is needing you to drink mama 💧 6: Sleeping is harder then I thought 😂 You can't lay on your back, tummy or get comfortable especially as Bub grows! My pregnancy pillow helps so much though 7: You have to get really good at blocking out the noise, as soon as you're pregnant, EVERYONE is an expert on what you should & shouldn't do - a beautiful gift but also a time to try and block the noise & listen to your heart. 8: Your sex life does change 🤣 it's important to keep this alive for those in a relationship but also communicate as it certainly is not the same as pre pregnancy. Open & honest communication will combat this season though. 9: It's okay and completely normal to not have any idea what you're doing. Everyone was a first time parent at some stage, be kind to yourself & trust in the process. 10: Documenting your pregnancy is a great way to keep yourself accountable health wise whether that be pictures, a diary or something to look back on. This is such a beautiful time in your life that you won't get back, embrace it for all its beauty & pain ❤️ As always, so grateful for everyone's support throughout this pregnancy, I feel like you're all extended family, especially those that have been on this journey with us for years now 🥹
