@alidalifetravel: Replying to @anitacruz173 Where to stay in Italy? Hotel or Airbnb / private accommodation Here are some pros and cons. . And if you wonder why ai didn't talk about the prices, that is topic for a whole separate video, obviously private accommodation seems cheaper, but the value you get at a nice hotel is completely different... I could talk about it... . #italytraveltips #accommodation #italyhotels #italytripplanning
Is there a company that does apart-hotels throughout the country ?

No choice but to go with an Airbnb for my family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Appart Hotels was possible for us in Japan, but in Italy, didn’t find anything at a reasonnable price.

Oh yes! I agree. We made life long friends with the owners of a small local hotel in Rome ❤️❤️

Do the hotels have a small fridge—we travel with meds that have to be kept refrigerated

ALWAYS A HOTEL or campervan because air bnb takes housing from the locals and is not good for the local economy.

Italy has the best boutique hotels and provide jobs. I prefer hotels. And most areas have laundromats

An apartment is the way to go, especially if you are a family. Separate rooms allow for different schedules, napping. And there is nothing like having access to food whenever you wish.

We have done both in Italy and liked them both. In general, AirBnB hosts are very helpful and accommodating and they were in Italy. Italian people are just friendly and warm and helpful.

Airbnb is a life saver in Europe, affordable accommodation, it does not get any more authentic or local than that

Never had a problem with air bnb in Italy. Just have to do your research and read the reviews also. Much more affordable. Hotels and eating out for all your meals is for rich people.

I loved the Air bnb I stayed in Rome. The hostess was a very friendly & helped me navigate, she even made me dinner. I will go back to her place when I visit Italy again

I could NEVER use a laundry service. I don’t want anyone touching my clothes. I wash most on delicate cycles and hang dry. If I don’t stay in an apartment what do I do ?

I like helping locals by paying them for a stay. They help me with touring the city. If I use a travel agent, I want a hotel but if I book I like an Airbnb.

Hotels 100%! Often they are better value for money. Business hotels on the weekend and vacation periods can be very affordable.
