@adoublelife_vlog: Full Episode now Live on Spotify 96% of women start breastfeeding, but only 15-20% make it to five months. The drop is due to reasons like physical conditions, medications, and returning to work. We can’t all breastfeed 24/7, so formula is often the next best option. It’s a conversation that needs more attention, especially since many feel guilty for not breastfeeding, even when it’s not always possible. @Oli6 @Meke Baby @Elysia Krstevski

Due to reasons also including that sometimes it’s just too hard (which is a good enough reason) so let’s not forgot those mothers in your argument.

It's because there is no support or education for mothers learning to feed, and breastfeeding is HARD work.

It’s education. We’re not taught anything about it until you give birth, then even nurses have conflicting info. Women say they stop as no supply & don’t know it’s cluster feeding etc

I fully planned on breastfeeding, when it actually came to it , it was a horrible experience. Insane amount of pain I would be in tears every time, had to stop for my mental health. It was terrible
