here is the thing - if they have adhd they may not have even realized. i have done that on accident before in my actual house. now I typically have a checklist because that has given us anxiety.

My husband is the cook in our family and he routinely leaves the oven on. It’s just carelessness and lack of paying attention. I usually notice and switch it off .

A friend once played around with either my toaster oven or hot plate. Left it on. Landlord had to call fire department out of it and had to convince that it wasn’t me. He wasn’t even cooking!
